MedPOINT Management is excited to announce the publication of the final evaluation report of the Samaritan project. This innovative digital health intervention, designed to assist individuals at risk or experiencing homelessness, has demonstrated significant positive outcomes in the Los Angeles area.

In partnership with the California Health Care Foundation, Health Care LA, IPA, and California Hospital Medical Center, the Samaritan project leverages technology to provide its members with crucial social and financial support.

MedPOINT Management and the Center for Community Health and Evaluation conducted the evaluation using a mixed-methods approach. Our evaluation highlights substantial healthcare cost savings, improved health outcomes, and enhanced social support for participants. Notably, the project has led to decreased emergency department (ED) usage and increased use of preventive and specialist services, showcasing the effectiveness of Samaritan's holistic approach.

We are proud to contribute to a program that addresses immediate needs and empowers individuals to achieve long-term stability and well-being. Read the report linked below to learn more about how MedPOINT Management is making a difference in our community.
